Tower House is an outstanding Independent Boys’ Prep School, where boys aged 4-13 can discover their passions and feel inspired to explore them with open hearts and minds. Located in East Sheen, with a school service bus running from Mortlake, our school offers a rich learning environment where boys practice thinking, debate and inquiry, learn to modify their views based on others’ reasoning and listen, understand and empathise with others’ experiences.

Life at Tower House

Your child’s journey starts in Reception, whereby they will then progress up to Junior School, Year 1 to Year 3, and conclude with Senior School in Year 8. With English and Maths at the core of the curriculum, in Senior School the boys are taught by specialist teachers who inspire and motivate in each specific subject. Regular formative and summative assessments are tracked across the year to monitor progress and add intervention where required, to ensure every pupil is making the maximum academic progress.

Amongst our core values at Tower House are kindness and service to others; evident in the warm relationships between staff and the boys themselves. We strive to develop young men with a sense of gratitude, responsibility, and a genuine care for others, so they are well prepared for Senior School and beyond, with the intellectual curiosity and resilience to take on and actively seek new challenges.

Our links with Old Vicarage Girls’ School

Every term, multiple opportunities are provided for each year group from Tower House Boys’ School and The Old Vicarage Girls’ School in Richmond to come together for academic workshops and social activities; co-ordinating key events to support families with children at both schools. These opportunities to interact with girls leads to a healthy understanding of diverse perspectives and positive relationships.
